- Develops and implements the Marketing and Communication Strategy for the NLEC
- Develops and implements, in association with the Education and Training Committee, all NLEC conferences and events
- Develops and monitors annual advocacy strategies for the key advocacy issues as approved by the NLEC Board of Directors

- Responsible for the organization’s financial operations, including all accounting and bookkeeping functions.

- Provides administrative support to NLEC staff, committees and members.

- Works in partnership with WHSCC and NLFL to explore the feasibility of establishing safety sector councils and assists in their development.
- Acts as a resource to existing safety sector councils when required.
- Provides OH&S Training for the Employers Council.
