The Newfoundland & Labrador Employers' Council will…- Be a focal point of information regarding current employment issues.
- Collaborate with other business organizations to achieve their objectives.
- Lead employer representation on employment issues and be a strong voice articulating the impact such issues will have on employers.
Communication:
The Newfoundland & Labrador Employers' Council will…- Increase member awareness of understanding of employment issues and new initiatives.
- Provide clear communication and relevant information in a concise, meaningful, and timely fashion.
- Provide regular forums for members to communicate to Council their opinions, experiences and needs.
Training:
The Newfoundland & Labrador Employers' Council will…- Identify professional and practical development opportunities to enhance its membership's knowledge of employment issues and managerial practices.
- Provide multiple forums to ensure training experiences are relevant and effective.
- Recognize that it's experience and expertise can benefit others and it will share best practices with the larger employer community.
