Introducing a half-day workshop on Managing Employee Technology. Facilitator to be announced at a later date. Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Location: Employers' Council Boardroom, Suite 208, 133 Crosbie Road, St. John's Price: $100 Member; $150 Non-Member (+HST) This workshop will begin by identifying how expanding technology is influencing business and providing new mediums for employees and workplaces to communicate. Influencing the use of technology can improve work process, attitudes, and provide a forum for questions, concerns, ideas, and projects. This half-day session will introduce you to the world of employee blogs, wicci's, Facebook, Myspace, and teach you how to best promote the positive use of this new technology and management practices to ensure company productivity, privacy, and policy. |
