Objectives
- Ensure a competitive regulatory framework for employing people in NL;
- Ensure employers’ interests are represented to government;
- Ensure a timely response to government and non-governmental actions or decisions that impact the employment relationship.
Methods
- Developing policy and position statements on strategic employer issues.
- Monitoring current and emerging issues and legislation to ensure our policy positions are relevant.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with with senior decision makers in government, other organizations and member organizations.
